Something to Ponder About

The other day, as I was leaving for lunch, there at the lobby, I saw this man. He is around 50. He was using a walking crutch (?) (an apparatus that one uses to assist one to walk). I was taken aback and just stood there on my track looking at him. His wife who was driving was leaving the area. He was walking so slowly.
Now, I always saw him because he works in the building. I have always known him to be someone normal and healthy. Seeing him like that day made me realised how really fragile life is. Ofcourse I always knew that but withnessing life at its lowest point jolted me. He was the opposite of who he was, walking quickly and looking strong and robust. Now he was a frail man. The "life" was taken away from him. How does that made him feel? Does he feel helpless and "useless as well as a burden"?
And we have some people doing crazy stuffs and stunts and got away with just a scratch maybe until that one day when the "life" is taken away.
At this age, I look at life quite differently than when I was younger. I value and treasure life more now, not just mine but everybody else`s.

Woohoo! Finally an update from Uncle warrior. You sound very much like my own father. He always says that he looks at life in a different way than when he was younger. Perhaps, growing older makes everyone more mature and wiser.

Life is fragile, indeed.

We're born, we grow old, we get sick, and we die. It's a circle of life. What matters is not how long we live, it's what we do in life and we live our life to the fullest is what matters most.

I am quite choosy in what I post in my blog and thats why sometimes I take time to post/update my blog. I like it to me something meaningful as far as possible, something that jolts my own mind and if possible others.

Sometimes I wrote about places that i went to, what I did before which has an impact etcetc.

But jarang update mostly sebab busy la Clef although that wont stop me from merapu in your blog and others!
