It has been quite a while. The real world required my full attention.
I still abstain from smoking. It has been 2 years and 7 months now.
Life has been good to me, very good.
MJ and Yasmin has left us. When the US (and local) newspapers/electronic media reported about the passing of MJ, they mentioned the 3 child molestation cases. No uproar there!.
In the case of Yasmin, Kosmo wrote about something that left many being upset. Was her situation degrading and shameful? To whose eyes? I left this comment in rantingsbymm!
I read about the English debacle. Marina posted an opinion of a Malaysian living in NY I think. The good Doctor thought his opinion on the matter is so good and comprehensive and he thinks lowly of the Minister and the many officials of the Ministry and those learned people who studied the issue! Oh well.
We have a new PM. From what I know of him and personally experienced, at least he is decisive and he makes decisions. That is important. One must make decisions!
What do I think of the Pakatan Rakyat? Well, for one they dont really bersepakat. The Tiger Singh has been silenced! Nik Aziz shoots his mouth without thinking as always. Anwar is playing safe.
H1N1 is playing havoc with the life of many. Personally it affects me as I travel overseas quite often. Apart from the fear of risk of catching the virus when in a plane finding later that I need to be quarantined in a foreign land, I feel helpless because I cant control my "neighbours" on those planes I travel in as well as people I mix with. I am going to HCM Vietnam in August god willing.
The economy? It will get better and it is improving. It is saying so in the "business" that I am in.

If only my husband would abstain from smoking, Uncle Warrior. My house was burn down 2 wiks ago, and all of us almost died in there out of smoke inhalation, and everything was poofed in minutes. Even that...does not stop him from smoking. I can't say much, still distress...anyway, it's been a bad year... too much bad news.
Hi Cleff, good to hear from you again. It has been quite a while. I am so sorry to hear what happened to you. I pray that things will improve and get better including that hubby of yours quitting smoking. Maybe you should get pregnant and have a kid. That may help. Sorry just kidding.
I am sure what happened was a horrowing experience for you and I can only symphatise.
